The Salmond Group is located in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, UK. The current research interests within the group include aspects of bacterial Quorum sensing and virulence, regulation and biosynthesis of carbapenem antibiotics and prodigiosin, protein secretion systems, viral abortive infection systems and bacteriophages of plant and animal pathogens.
