As Large Sequencing Projects Manager for the Biochemistry DNA Sequencing Facility, I am responsible for the genome sequencing projects run on the facility's Roche/454 GS FLX for customers. I am
involved in managing each individual genome sequencing project from discussions on the submission of customer's DNA right up to completing final aligned consensus
sequence, as the project demands.
Other responsibilities include the maintenance of the Leadlay group website and internal group intranet, as well as archiving and meeting requests from the Leadlay group and other scientists for strains from our extensive strain collection.
