Marie-Ève Bourassa
Before moving to England, Marie-Ève Bourassa worked as an Interior Designer in Montreal
for an architecture firm specializing in Theatre Design. In September 2010, she graduated
with distinction from the University for the Creative Arts with a Master of Arts in Design for
Performance and Events, during which she explored the relationship between Landscape
and Scenography. She produced Garden Spectacle, a sound and light installation inspired
by Emile Zola’s La Faute de l’abbé Mouret, set at the Commissioner’s Garden at
The Historic Dockyard in Chatham, Kent. Since moving to Cambridge, Marie-Eve realised
the staging for A Double-Bill of Deceit and Trickery, for Fitzwilliam Chamber Opera.
