Our teaching
The School contributes to three major teaching programmes. A course or programme is known in the University of Cambridge as a Tripos. The Faculty of Biology provides all the teaching of Biological Sciences in the Natural Sciences Tripos (NST). It also provides all the pre-clinical teaching for the Medical and Veterinary Sciences Tripos (MVST). A new Tripos has been created in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences.
The clinical teaching of veterinary students continues within the Department of Veterinary Medicine while medical students may go on to the School of Clinical Medicine.
For information on graduate training see the Graduate School web site.
For information on scientific training provided by support facilities please see the Services page. In particular there is a listing of bioinformatics training resources but many other services provide some training to staff and students.
